Rainman Watermakers
Rainman Watermakers are a compact system designed to generate a fresh potable water supply from seawater. They can be installed in a minimum footprint configuration or kept portable for maximum flexibility.
Rainman Watermakers are available in three power types

AC Electric
The AC system is by far our most popular watermaker. It’s a very simple and highly reliable system that can make up to 140 liters (37 gallons) of fresh potable water per hour.

Petrol (Gas)
The petrol system requires no external power source. Not relying on external power gives maximum flexibility for taking it ashore, loaning it out, or using it in emergency situations.

12VDC Electric
The 12VDC Electric system consumes the least power. It’s a very simple and highly reliable system that can make up to 34 liters (9 gallons) of fresh potable water per hour.
Two components – one watermaker
The system is made up of a pressure supply unit (PSU) and a reverse osmosis unit (RO).
The PSU lifts the seawater, filters out the sediment and puts the system under high pressure, while the RO unit extracts fresh water from the stream of pressurized seawater.
Different RO options exist for you to select with your AC Rainman system, each to achieve their own specific objective.
Easy mounting system
Often one of the challenges with a watermaker is the physical installation of the system. Rainman has developed a mounting system made of fiberglass reinforced nylon to make this process as easy as possible. Simply screw down the seats with self-tapper screws and the Rainman systems snap into place.
More details can be found in the installation guide, but watermaker installers tell us they can save hours off of each installation.
The Rainman advantage

VERSATILITY
Rainman watermakers can be easily transferred between boats or used in remote land based applications. Keep your watermaker when you change your boat.

RELIABILITY
Partnering with the best companies for components, Rainman watermakers have a very high quality build, ensuring reliability and longevity of your investment.

LIFE CYCLE COST
With modest initial investment and components designed for durability and easy maintenance, the overall life cycle cost of a Rainman watermaker is kept to a minimum.
